Tuhob Spring

Overview

Tuhob Spring is a natural cold spring in Barangay Can-olin, Candijay, Bohol. The name is Cebuano — tuhob means “to soak,” “to saturate,” or “to drench” — a direct description of the spring’s steady, generous flow, which has reliably served the surrounding valley for generations. The water issues from a natural rock fissure fed by underground limestone aquifers, filtered through the municipality’s karst geology before reaching the surface at a consistent 20–22°C.
