Overview

Plaza Rizal Park is a public park in Barangay Poblacion I, Tagbilaran City, named for national hero José Rizal. It works as civic space day to day and as the setting for formal patriotic observance each December 30 — Rizal Day, the anniversary of Rizal’s 1896 execution — when the Philippine flag is raised there.
