Overview
Mt. Canhumangad is the highest peak in Barangay Pangdan, Jagna. The summit’s flat top makes it a practical camping spot for locals, with a direct view down to the Jagna town proper below.
Location
The peak is in Barangay Pangdan, on the upland side of Jagna municipality. Jagna sits on Bohol’s southeastern coast, about 58 kilometres from Tagbilaran City — a town whose 19th-century economy ran on copra and abaca shipped out through its own port, and whose Pangdan barangay today covers both a coastal dive site and this upland peak within a short distance of each other.
Getting There
From Tagbilaran City, take a bus or van headed to Jagna along the south coastal road. Travel time is approximately 1.5 hours. From Jagna town proper, take a motorcycle or habal-habal to Barangay Pangdan and ask locally for the trail to the peak.

What to Expect
The flat summit is the main draw — camping with a direct view of Jagna town below, and, as the highest point in the barangay, broad views across the surrounding hills as well. The area sees more local use than organised tour groups. Anyone stopping in Jagna town before or after the climb should look for kalamay, the sticky rice-and-coconut delicacy the municipality is known for, sold along the roadside in small bamboo tubes.
