Overview

The Infinity Pool in Barangay Magtangtang, Danao, is a series of natural pools of varying sizes and shapes just below the Danao Adventure Park activity area. Spring-fed and cool relative to the surrounding air, the pools serve as a cool-down stop for visitors who have worked through the park’s activities — ziplining, bungee jumping, and river tubing among them.

Location

Barangay Magtangtang, Danao, Bohol. Danao Adventure Park sits within a forested gorge area of Danao municipality, roughly 45 km north of Tagbilaran City.

Getting There

From Tagbilaran City, travel north toward Danao (approximately 1.5 hours). Jeepneys and buses bound for Carmen or Danao from Tagbilaran’s integrated terminal pass through the area. From Danao town, habal-habal (motorcycle taxis) can reach Barangay Magtangtang.

Practical Info

  • Access: The pools are part of the Danao Adventure Park compound; entry fee for the park applies
  • One independent 2026 source lists a “Swimming Pool” activity at Danao Adventure Park priced at ₱100 — this likely corresponds to this Infinity Pool entity, though the source uses a different name for it, so the match is probable rather than certain. [FACT NEEDED: confirmation this is the same feature, and current confirmed operating hours.]
  • Best months: December–April (dry season; water levels stable, less risk of flooding)
  • Avoid: July–September (typhoon season; flash flooding in gorge areas possible)

What to Expect

Because the pools sit downhill from the main activity platform, they work as a natural endpoint to a Danao Adventure Park visit rather than a separate outing — most visitors arrive here already wet and worked over from the ziplines and bungee jump, not planning a swim from the start.

[TO ENRICH: depth range of pools, whether they are maintained or entirely natural, any facilities nearby (changing rooms, toilets)]

Notes

  • The Infinity Pool is best treated as part of a full Danao Adventure Park visit rather than a standalone destination.

  • Danao municipality is also the site of the Francisco Dagohoy Marker, commemorating Bohol’s most famous 18th-century revolt leader.

  • Danao Adventure Park Bohol: Everything You Need To Know 2026, accessed 2026-07-17 (₱100 “Swimming Pool” activity rate, probable match to this entity).
