Overview

Danao Adventure Park, formally E.A.T. Danao (Eco, Educational, Extreme Adventure Tour), is an LGU-owned adventure park in Barangay Magtangtang, Danao municipality, with its income directed back into the local community. The park sits in highland terrain above the Wahig River gorge, about two hours by road from Tagbilaran City via the Sagbayan–Danao route.

The signature attraction is The Plunge, a canyon swing with roughly 70 metres of free fall into the gorge, recorded in Philippine tourism references as the only canyon swing of its kind in the country. Location

What to Expect

The Sky Ride moves slowly across the same gorge, its cable set roughly 280 metres above the ground below. The Giant Swing lets the rider decide how far up the arc to go, to a maximum of about 100 metres, out over the cliffside above the Wahig. Rappelling is run as the Root Climb, a roped descent of the gorge wall. The Glass Cliffwalk, a glass-floored platform over the gorge edge, is more photography-and-vertigo experience than physical challenge. River kayaking runs 2–3 hours with a guide along the Wahig, ending at a riverbank picnic spot. Every activity carries a safety briefing, and none of the main rides run self-guided.
