Hambongan Island is a small, peanut-shaped island less than 3 nautical miles off the Inabanga mainland, on Bohol’s northern coast. The surrounding waters are a protected marine sanctuary, which puts the legal weight of the site on the reef rather than the island itself. Seen from shore, it sits alone on the water as a single, distinct landform.

Barangay Hambongan, municipality of Inabanga, northern Bohol. The island is situated in Camotes Sea waters, north of the Inabanga coastline.

Getting There
