Cantuligsok Hill

Overview

Cantuligsok Hill rises 307 metres across Barangays Tugas and Mahangin — the tallest hill in Candijay municipality. The name comes from the Cebuano murag tugsok, “like something piercing upward,” for its pointed cone shape; it was historically also known as Santaligsok. Local tradition holds that couples who reach the summit together stay together.
