Bingag Beach

Overview

Bingag Beach is a public beach in barangay Bingag, Dauis, on the mainland side facing Panglao. The BPTO calls it one of the area’s best public beaches — white sand, blue-green water, palm shade along the shoreline.

Like Bikini Beach elsewhere in Dauis, this is a local-use beach rather than a resort strip, and it sits close to Hinagdanan Cave, one of the more visited natural sites in the Dauis-Panglao corridor.

Location

Barangay Bingag, Municipality of Dauis, Bohol. Bingag sits between Tagbilaran City and the Panglao causeway, along the southern Bohol coast.

Getting There

From Tagbilaran City, take a jeepney or tricycle toward Dauis or Panglao. Bingag is along the coastal road, reachable in approximately 20–30 minutes from the city. Hinagdanan Cave is within the same barangay, making a combined stop convenient.

What to Expect

White sand and a palm-lined shoreline; the blue-green water reflects a shallow, sandy seabed typical of the Bohol Strait along this stretch. It’s a swimming and relaxation beach, busiest on weekends.

Hinagdanan Cave — one of Bohol’s most-visited limestone caves, with an underground pool — sits in the same barangay and pairs easily with a beach visit in a single afternoon.
