Botanical Garden

Overview

The Botanical Garden in Barangay Songculan, Dauis is an outdoor nature space planted with a variety of colorful ornamental plants. Beyond the plant collection, the garden keeps live animals including a python, birds, and butterflies, which serve as additional draws for visitors. Location

Barangay Songculan, Dauis, Bohol. Dauis is the municipality directly connected to Tagbilaran City via the Dauis–Tagbilaran causeway. Songculan sits on the eastern side of the Dauis peninsula.

Getting There

From Tagbilaran City, take a tricycle or habal-habal toward Dauis. Dauis is 5–10 minutes from the city centre by road. The garden is accessible from the main road through Songculan. Jeepneys from Tagbilaran’s Dao Terminal or Tagbilaran City Square also serve the area (about one hour, roughly ₱20 one way).

The garden is locally known as Bliss Petals Botanical Garden and is landmarked near Songculan Church, in front of the Yellow House.
