Aguipo View Park

Overview

Aguipo View Park occupies a solitary limestone hill in Barangay Aguipo, Mabini, on Bohol’s southeast coast — a community-built religious and scenic park. Life-sized Stations of the Cross figures climb the hill face, a rosary garden sits at its base, and a kiosk at the summit opens onto a panorama over the surrounding barangays and coastline. Local elders once called the hill “Mutong Habog,” a Cebuano name likely describing its isolated profile against the flatter land around it.

From Tagbilaran City, a bus or jeepney bound for Jagna or Anda reaches the Mabini junction in about 2 hours. From Mabini Poblacion, a habal-habal serves Barangay Aguipo. Jagna port, the nearest major transport hub, sits 15–20 km west along the coastal road.
