Port of Jagna

A RoRo/passenger seaport on Bohol's south coast, in Jagna — the province's primary gateway to Northern Mindanao (Cagayan de Oro via Lite Ferries overnight) and Camiguin Island (Super Shuttle Ferry). A 2020-21 PPA wharf upgrade reinforced the concrete structure for larger vessels.

Type: SeaportLocation: Jagna, Bohol (south coast)

Overview

Port of Jagna is Bohol’s southern maritime hub — the principal departure point for ferry services to Northern Mindanao and Camiguin Island. The 2020–21 Philippine Ports Authority wharf reinforcement upgraded the berth to accommodate larger RoRo vessels. Jagna is roughly 70 km east of Tagbilaran along the southern coastal highway — about 1.5–2 hours by bus.

Lite Ferries: Jagna–Cagayan de Oro overnight

An overnight bunk-ferry option for travellers heading to Northern Mindanao without routing through Cebu. Bunk classes: Economy A, Standard, Tourist Lying, Business. Book a Tourist Lying or Business class for overnight comfort.

Tip: print your ticket — overnight RoRo gangways often require a physical ticket, not a phone screen.

Super Shuttle Ferry: Jagna–Camiguin (Balbagon)

Super Shuttle Ferry (which also operates Hagnaya–Bantayan, Oslob–Siquijor, and the Bohol–Camiguin service) connects Jagna to Balbagon Port, Camiguin Island — a direct island-hop without routing through Mindanao. Check 12Go for the current schedule as frequency may be limited.
