Overview

Mag-Aso Falls Cave is a karst cave in Antequera municipality, Bohol, that features an internal waterfall cascading into underground pools. The cave combines spelunking with waterfall access in a single site. Mist from the internal cascade keeps the chamber air cool and damp. The approach requires a moderate jungle hike through the Antequera highlands.

This is a distinct attraction from the open-air Mag-aso Falls (twin surface waterfall) nearby — the cave is a separate formation where water enters a limestone chamber and drops into interior pools.

Getting There

What to Expect

A limestone cave with an active internal waterfall dropping into one or more underground pools. The mist from the falls keeps chamber temperatures cool.
