Hunop Beach

Overview

Hunop Beach sits in Barangay Puerto San Pedro, Bien Unido municipality, on Bohol’s northeastern coast. Open-sided cottages line the shore, and the water is calm enough for casual sea bathing rather than surf or current. Bien Unido’s coastline fronts the Danajon Bank — one of only two double barrier reefs recorded in the Indo-Pacific — which makes the municipality more significant ecologically than its modest beach infrastructure suggests.

Getting There
