This category covers Bohol’s working side: organic farms open to visitors, aquaculture and hatchery operations, and small cottage industries — pottery in Talibon, raffia weaving in Inabanga, wood carving behind a south-coast church, shell craft on Pangangan Island. Most of these are genuine local livelihoods that happen to also take visitors, not attractions built for tourism first, which means opening hours and access can be informal — a phone call ahead is often more reliable than showing up.
Inabanga’s raffia-weaving industry in particular has real depth behind it — enough that the town runs an annual festival around it — and Bohol’s interior coffee and cacao farms are part of a small but real specialty-crop scene that doesn’t get much coverage outside the province.
