Overview

Alta Citta Mall opened in downtown Tagbilaran City on 6 July 2019, developed by the Alturas Group of Companies on the former site of Holy Name University’s DWC-T campus. Four levels cover roughly 17,213 square metres, placing it among the cluster of malls in the Tagbilaran central district alongside Alturas Mall, AH Shoppers Mart, and Bohol Quality Mall. Poblacion II, the barangay it sits in, is a central commercial zone close to the hospital district anchored by Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Medical Center and Ramiro Community Hospital.

Anchor tenants at opening included a supermarket, Jollibee, The Prawn Farm, Medicine Plus Pharmacy, Sunburst, EO, David’s Salon, and an Ibex call-center office. Poblacion II, Tagbilaran City. Tagbilaran is the provincial capital of Bohol, the main arrival point for domestic flights and inter-island ferries from Cebu. Poblacion II sits near the city centre, walkable or a short tricycle ride from the pier.

Getting There

From the Tagbilaran pier, a tricycle reaches Poblacion II in about 10 minutes. From the Dao transport terminal, tricycle or habal-habal covers the distance. From Bohol-Panglao International Airport, the drive to the city centre runs about 20–25 minutes.

General mall hours run 10:00 AM–10:00 PM; the ground-floor supermarket and Jollibee open earlier, at 6:00 AM. Parking: a basement carpark holds 65 cars and 150 motorcycles, with an additional outside lot adding roughly 65 more car spaces — about 130 car spaces in total.

What to Expect

A supermarket-anchored mall with a Jollibee outlet, a Medicine Plus pharmacy, David’s Salon, and general retail from Sunburst and EO — the standard one-stop set of amenities for Tagbilaran visitors after supplies, food, or a quick service stop.
