Overview

Chocolate Hills Adventure Park (CHAP) is a recreational facility in Barangay Buenos Aires, Carmen, Bohol, listed in the 2025 BPTO Inventory of Tourist Attractions under “Sports and Recreational Facilities — Other Sports and Recreational Activity.” It sits within the Chocolate Hills complex area but operates as a separately ticketed attraction, distinct from the municipal viewing deck nearby.

The park is built into the same limestone terrain that produced the Chocolate Hills themselves — coral deposits pushed up from an ancient seabed and weathered by rainwater into rounded mounds, the process most geologists credit for the formation’s cone shapes. Rides and courses run over and between this terrain rather than a cleared, flat site.

Per the park’s own website, activities include “The Rush” Bike Zip, the “Wave Runner” Surf Zip, a Superman course, a Snake Ladder obstacle, a Pentagon challenge, a Tarzan Swing, fish and chicken feeding, a kids’ play area (“Gymnaskids”), a trampoline, and eco nature hiking trails. Older visitor reports from 2016 describe the signature bike zipline as a roughly 225-metre cable suspended about 150 feet above ground, alongside treetop courses and hanging or rope bridges — the general activity mix appears to have held steady even as individual ride names were rebranded.

Expect a zipline- and obstacle-course park built into hill terrain rather than flat ground — elevation and gravity do more of the work here than at a standard adventure park.
