Baclayon Municipal Hall

Overview

Baclayon Municipal Hall is the seat of local government for Baclayon municipality, in Poblacion. The provincial tourism inventory files it under History and Culture rather than plain civic infrastructure — less a statement about the building’s own fabric, which remains undocumented, than a reflection of the heritage landscape it sits inside. Location

Getting There

From Tagbilaran City, take a tricycle or jeepney east to Baclayon — approximately 15 to 20 minutes. The Poblacion is the first major stop in Baclayon along the coastal road from Tagbilaran.

As a functioning government office, the municipal hall is open on regular weekday office hours (typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday). Not a ticketed attraction. Visitors planning heritage tours of Baclayon can inquire at the municipal hall about access to other local sites or guides.
