Overview

Altham Destiny Land is a multi-purpose resort in Sitio Cambaja, Barangay Pagahat, Alicia, set within the cluster of the municipality’s tourism sites — Alicia Panoramic Park (TAPP), Batong Puti Cliffside Park, and Princess Manan-aw Cave. The property runs three functions at once: recreational pool resort, faith tourism site, and agri-farm destination.

The surrounding ridgeline carries rock formations that local tradition has named for their shapes. Two are recognised by name — the “Laboring Pregnant Lady” and “Jesus’ Face Mountain” — mountain profiles read from the resort grounds and passed down as folk interpretations, giving the site a layer of interest beyond its pools.

Day-use visitors pay PHP 50 per person, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily. An overnight package rents a wood house with fan, a children’s swimming pool, and a videoke room for PHP 5,000, covering up to 12 guests over 24 hours. Outside food comes in without corkage charges, and the resort kitchen also takes pre-orders.

Location

Sitio Cambaja, Barangay Pagahat, Alicia, Bohol. Alicia is an inland municipality in the northeastern part of Bohol, about 70–80 km from Tagbilaran City by road via the national highway toward Talibon. The resort sits among several of Alicia’s natural and cultural sites.

Getting There

From Tagbilaran City, a bus or jeepney bound for Talibon or Bien Unido reaches the Alicia junction or Poblacion in about 2–2.5 hours. From Alicia Poblacion, habal-habal riders serve Barangay Pagahat and Sitio Cambaja — a single ride can string together Altham Destiny Land with a stop at TAPP or Princess Manan-aw Cave.

Day use: PHP 50 per person, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM daily. Overnight: PHP 5,000 for up to 12 guests / 24 hours, including the wood fan room, children’s pool, and videoke. No corkage fee for outside food. Pre-ordered meals are available from the resort kitchen. No additional permit is required for day visits.

What to Expect

A rural resort built around a pool suitable for children, a garden and farm area, and views of the named rock formations on the surrounding ridgeline. The faith tourism component ties directly to those natural features — the “Jesus’ Face Mountain” profile and the “Laboring Pregnant Lady” formation, both viewed from the grounds. The setting stays agricultural and quiet, a contrast to more developed resort clusters elsewhere in Bohol.
